Contcatless Travel

We now accept contactless payments!

We’re making coach travel even easier by introducing contactless payments on our coaches. Pay quickly, safely and securely and never worry about looking for change again!

Simply tap your contactless-enabled credit or debit card on our reader to pay with ease up to £30. Wait for the beep, collect your ticket and simply board the coach.

What is contactless?

Contactless is the fast, easy and secure way to pay for transactions under £30. All you need is a contactless-enabled card or mobile with Apple Pay or Android Pay installed and ready to use.

Why you’ll love contactless

  • No change? No bother! With contactless you don’t need to worry about finding change to pay for your ticket.
  • Pay quickly – it takes under a second for a contactless payment to register
  • It’s secure – contactless payments have the same level
of protection as Chip and PIN payments

How to use contactless

Look for the contactless symbol on your credit or debit card to see if your card is contactless enabled.

Then, board a coach with the contactless symbol and instead of paying with cash, simply tap your card or contactless-enabled device onto the reader and wait for the beep.

Please note that payments will appear on bank statements as 'Stagecoach' or 'Stagecoach/Citylink'.

Where can I pay with contactless?

Contactless is currently available across all Scottish Citylink routes within Scotland.
